Zoom-out and Zoom-in....


Newminimalists Zoom-in so they can Zoom-out.



Zoom-out for context and Zoom-in for content.

Zoom is a brand name for a technology that is being used by a growing number of people around the world for social contact, interactive business meetings, media networking, family communications, sexual hook-ups, etc. And as you know intuitively in this time of a global economic locked-down the use of Zoom is booming while the use of aircrafts is about 10% of what it was 12 months ago. If you Zoom-in on both those industries you see a tale of two worlds: one world is full of growth and the other world is in a state of stagnation. When you Zoom-out you see a clear image of change.


When this global economic lock-down is finally lifted we must Zoom-out to establish the context for the changes we will see and then we must Zoom-in on these new ways of communicating, travelling, being in business, learning at school or College, dinning at home or eating out, receiving medical advice or care, and so on. There will be so much change and yet all of it will seem to be normal [see photo] because we have entered a time an era of the abnormal. We are about to live within an abnormal context and equally we will live with abnormal content.


Each person must now Zoom-out to establish what the new context is for his or her life. Then he or she must Zoom-in to decide what content they need and want in their life.
