Newminimalism promotes *originality *discipline *creativity *loyalty *less fluff
Up on a whiteboard somewhere you have set-out your plans for success in your life. Some of you have Plan A [with interlocking details] and Plan B [with broad-brush themes]. But. Almost none of you have a Plan C [see photo].
But.... You now need a Plan C.
The recurring theme in any Plan C is the changing context of a life. And as we all know too well the context of your life is often way beyond your control. We also know that a looming impact on an individual's life in a post-2020 world is the pending advances in AI technology.
When the context of one's life enters a period of structural change. And that is coming for everyone in the post-2020 as the world shifts to an "on demand" society. The "noise" within this systemic change comes from "woke-ness" and all its attendant issues [Climate Change, Feminism, HR programs for diversity and inclusion, etc] but throughout 2020 this chanting will begin to fade out. It will fade out because the social issues will change as AI automation begins to change the distribution of wealth, power, and status. So. To survive and thrive in a post-2020 world each of us must scrap Plan A and Plan B and move on to Plan C.
Plan C is strategic, it addresses ambiguity/uncertainty, it favours discontinuity thinking, it embeds flexibility with surpluses, it is creative and transparent, it is framed by some trusted algorithms, and so on and so on........ Once an individual can consolidate his or her outline for Plan C then the next requirement is a broad sketch for Plan D and Plan E.
