Newminimalists often work from home.
Those who work from home will be super talent not the norm. Why? They must have skills that are not really required in all those who work within a collaborative setting inside a physical workplace setting.
Through my "top of the head" thinking I attempt to list some of those superior skills required by work-from-home talent:
* excellent time management capabilities
* advanced social networking skills in a virtual environment
* innovative talent who work with advanced technologies that are not matched at the physical workplace of their colleagues
* superior discipline skills that enable them to be productive in a single purpose [work only] or a multi-purpose [work and family] environments
* ability to discard, disobey, or ignore HR and Executive management missives that tend to spew out each day
* agile and heuristic schemes for online work programs.
And so on.....
