There are many answers to the question: why Russia is waging war inside Ukraine? Some answers are compelling and others are drivel. However... one that demands closer scrutiny is the notion that "the woke movement has made the West insipid and weak" and thus created a power vacuum in Europe [see photo].
If one is to believe that wokeness is the holy grail for humanity then he, she, them or they must accept that governments know best. The logical next step is to ensure that the government is your team not their team. And once you hoist the "woke flag" you will define all opposition as the other team. But eventually "the other team" will fight back with all the ferocity and vigor that you and your team deploy to the enterprise. The usual outcome is a war not a football match, not a volleyball competition, not an athletic competition; but a brutal and senseless war. After years of death, destruction, stupidity, and crass behaviours one team is declared the winner. However the clear-and-evident truth is no one wins a war.
The reason Russians are in Ukraine is that the woke team pushed Putin to act. He acted because he saw the power vacuum that the woke West [governments in Brussels, London, Paris, and Washington DC] had created. A weak NATO aligned to a weak EU presented Putin with both a threat and an opportunity. He seized the opportunity and marched into Ukraine with little resistance other than economic sanctions and hollow rhetoric from the woke team.
Putin has prevailed. He has a closed economy which enabled him to raise interest rates to 20% [just the kind of economic castor oil that the woke economies need but will not take]. He has ripped a huge hole in plans of the globalists [Davos and The Great Reset team] because geopolitical power has been knocked off its axis. And he has the woke team championing a corrupt dictator as they declare him a saint. The woke team has been hollowed out by recent events such as the truckers revolt in Ottawa; but, this war in Ukraine will further implode the woke notion that "governments know best".
Putin has his army deployed in Ukraine because the hubris and incompetence of the woke team created a power vacuum in Europe which had to be filled.
