The pressing question for the next ten years is this: who owns the content of your mind?
For moments, during meditation perhaps, your mind is clear [see photo] but that will not stop the government or their corporate backers from claiming ownership of it. If government owns your mind then you may not have the legal right to meditate. You certainly do not have the legal right to dream, think, or act in ways that the government deems as threatening to their power base. This is already happening across the world.
As a minimalist I retain ownership of the content of my mind because everything that is alive in that space pertains to my individual needs not the government's collective wants. They have their wants - some of which they seek to impose on me - and I have my individual needs - none of which I seek to impose on the government - so for all intent and purpose my mindfulness is beyond the reach of the power elites who seek to own it and control it.
