Public policy forced kids to wear masks outside, live as isolates, and to become afraid that they might cause the death of their familial. What sane person would ever advocate such public policy settings? Well... The people who forced these public policy settings onto the world were never sane, truthful, nor open about the facts on the harm they were causing to future generations. These were power-crazed bureaucrats who hide behind the narrative [a verbal mask] that they are acting for "the greater good".
Perhaps the true cost of these public policy failures will never be fully understood. But this should not be the reason that we citizens not demand that these public policy implementers be shamed or jailed. We should all rise to challenge the rantings of those whose only public policy objective is to keep their citizens in a state of fear. Masks are a transparent symbol of "fear" and as such they can become an effective tool for public policy implementers who seek to lockdown the individual and the collective mind. Those who wear masks even when these are not mandated can soon become trapped inside a cocoon of "fear" perpetrated by the public policy officials who have failed us.
When public policy fails we may come to believe that the world will end in 10 years, due to Climate Change, if The Green New Deal [or Build Back Better program] is not implemented around the world as a matter of urgency. And yet the push to implement the dictates of The Green New Deal is perhaps the real reason that Russian Troops are fighting on Ukraine soil today. Think about the fact that those who oppose fossil fuels are making Russia wealthy again [because natural gas and oil prices are on the rise] and thus they can easily fund this war. The secondary effect of these public policy settings on fossil fuels is feeding global inflation. And inflation leads to shortage of the essential of life for those who live from pay-packet-to-pay-packet. Finally... The rising cost of energy is of little concern for those who make public policy but it is crippling to the normal functioning of the global economy.
And so on and so on....
Richard.
