Minimalists are anchored to their habits.
Habits provide you with the context for your life. They are related to time as much as they associated with actions [see photo].
Your current version of minimal-you is being expressed by your habits. So it seems a reasonable suggestion that you check-in on who you are this week.
Make a note of what you are doing at various times on Monday and each subsequent day for a week. You can scribble simple notes down at that time or perhaps just before bedtime. These notes need not be detailed; indeed the less detail the better for this exercise.
At the end of the week put a circle around each time you did the same or a similar thing. The thing can be an event like eating, sleeping, having fun, reading, etc. One-off events are not really of interest here. It is the pattern of similar, or like minded, events that you need to make note of so that you learn more about your minimalism.
The pattern sketched out by these events will give you an insightful understanding of the context of your life as a minimalist.
Richard.
