Unconventional you powers your career..

Newminimalists promote trust in unconventional you.

The magnetic attraction of unconventional you

Remember the time you innocently bumped into him or her in a doorway and you both froze. It was a mere matter of seconds that you both stood there in a warm embrace. Two total strangers who seem to know each other intimately and are attracted to each other like powerful magnets. If nothing is said then it remains a memory for both of you of what might have been. If honest words are spoken between you two, in that moment, then the chances are good that you will find a partnership that lasts for the rest of your life. It may become a lifelong friendship. It may become the love of your lives.

Remember the time you innocently bumped into your career. It was a moment, a year, a decade, or more that led you to embrace your unconventional self. It is your unconventional self that has the magnetic power to attract a career that becomes your love affair and lasts a lifetime. The magnetic power of unconventional you also attracts others to work with you to realise your most precious dreams. Dreams are sometimes sweet, and sometimes scary, but it is the process that reveals unconventional you to your conscious world. Once you see who you have been, are today, and can be tomorrow you will embrace your unconventional you.

Unconventional you is the force of nature that powers your career. In turn it is powered by a version of you who places individual needs above collective wants. It is the collective wants that surround you in the workplace that ultimately ensure you keep your job. And, of course, having a job is a noble act however it can also become the reason you are depressed. Many workers are depressed because they are bored. They are bored with their jobs, even if they are on a fast-track for promotion, because they continue to rely upon the support the mob who rule their workplace. The best description of this syndrome came from an Australian TV critic who said "the first twenty-one years of content was simply one year repeated twenty-one times".

Those of you who are not stuck in a series of workplace repeats have found your version of unconventional you; and subsequently, you found a career that became the love of your life.

First, eliminate collective wants. Second, automate individual habits. Third, recreate personal beliefs. You can do it, but, you will need to be dedicated and disciplined to make it happen. For more on moving out of the slow lane in life go to minimal-you.com
