Ahead is a way of life that promises to be very different to the one you experienced in 2019.
Given you now need to"think different": here are some primers for you to build upon.
Do not sign on for a student loan that will cripple your life for decades.
If you are not offered a full scholarship to a prestigious educational institution then seek entry to a local University or College. Going to a local institution has many benefits including much lower costs.
Enter a part-time course so you can pay-as-you go for your qualifications. An added benefit is that you will study with other part-timers who bring worldly experience to any classroom. These people can become long-term colleagues who may become partners in a business venture or just helpful to you as you pursue your career. Overall the classroom learning model is enhanced when it is populated with at least some part-timers.
Take online courses if you need training in a professional area. If possible form a study group in your local area so you can bounce your ideas, questions, and lesson learnt with people like you. Self-directed tutorials with local students who are studying the same course content as you; however, you can also benefit if you include those who are studying very different course content to the one you chose.
Educate yourself to live and work in your local community. The post-2020 economy will become a highly decentralised system that comes with new levels of rigour, robustness, flexibility, and self-sufficiency. This economy will decouple from the global economy which has ruled our lives for the past 30 to 40 years. Centralised power became popular after WWII and then again after the Soviet Union collapsed and the Berlin Wall came down. The notion was that borders were an impediment to the world achieving Nirvana for 7.8 Billion. Nirvana was always and illusion and in March 2020 it officially became a full-blown delusion.
If you attend a University, or College, part-time you are in good shape to break-out of your ideological bubble, or "group think" trap, or theological cause, or traditional ways of being in the world, etc.
This may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for you to become an active Newminimalist.
