The strategic mind is notably a swirl of activity which means it creates alternative ideas, courses of action, and systemic outcomes on a regular basis [see photo].
I was born with such a mind and I must admit it has proven a Godsend.
The strategic mind repeatedly questions the status quo. Today we are told that Ukraine is GOOD and Russia is BAD. That fossil fuels are BAD and renewables are GOOD. That the EU Commission is virtuous and the Hungarian Government is vile. That Globalisation is GOOD and nationalism is BAD. And so on and so on.
As a first step towards creating your own strategic mind [or extending your capabilities] examine a couple of those bald statements. If you generally consider that Ukraine is GOOD and Russia is BAD reverse your thinking. Argue against the position you maintain within your mind's eye.
Can you shake yourself loose from the convictions you held before you began this little mind teasing exercise?
