Minimalists survive and thrive beyond the rule of lawlessness.
The rule of law is being superseded today by the rule of lawlessness. And so those who own the sheriff set the rules [see photo].
Today it is "the collective" that owns the sheriff. Thus they decide what thoughts are lawful. They decide what actions are lawful. They decide who are bandits and who are the posse.
These decisions are laid down in legislation drafted and passed by elected officials. These decisions are laid down in service provisions drafted and enforced by unelected officials. These decisions are laid down in accordance with the moral imperatives of the collective. These decisions are laid down in rules that are deliberately kept opaque in terms of legal precedent and the application of blind justice. These decisions are laid down by those who define what social cohesion will look-and-feel like in the foreseeable future. These decisions are laid down in ways that oppose any entity promoting independent thought or action.
Under the rule of lawlessness there is a simple rubric or axiom: that is the lawless are "them" and the lawful are "us".
