If you are to better understand your inner self then you must learn more about what you need and less about what others want [see photo].
The inner self that you likely know best is a series of images. More specifically it is the dreamtime images that entertains, educates, frightens, and changes you. Those dreamtime images exist right through a 24hrs cycle and this is probably what shapes our inner self. We know this is probably true because we often hear ourselves say "it just popped into my mind". But. This explanation of what happened to us is far from the truth. If it were true then we would know where it came from and why it landed in our mind at that precise moment. Of course the truth is that we know very little about how it got into our mind and how it got translated from an image into words.
Perhaps it just popped into my mind because I needed something to say at that moment. It just popped into my mind because the external setting I was encountering evoked it within me. It just popped into my mind at that moment because I had been dreaming about it for the past 24hrs. It just popped into my mind because at that moment there was no noise in my thinking processes to block it. It just popped into my mind because my inner self has learnt to show-up when I need it most.
It is likely that we shall learn that we think in images as much as we do in language. Indeed as new technology propagates images within, and around, the Internet which increasingly capture our mindfulness. However. As we deep-dive into our inner self we will most likely discover those truly amazing images which define our unique self.
