The new norm is dystopia....

Newminimalists can survive dystopia. Can you?

Aldous Huxley warned us about a dystopian future.

The new norm is a viral pandemic, people self-isolating, unemployment, indebtedness, hateful anger, mob rule, etc.

Public squalor is the new norm.

Elites live in luxury: the populous lives in squalor. Laws are abandoned. Trust is forsaken. Food prices rise and rise and rise. Shortages are commonplace. Life is cheap.

Dystopia thrives within the absence of civility. Spot fires are ignited here, there, and everywhere. When these spot fires reach plague levels: life [as we have known it] will be replaced by entropy. Ignorance, stupidity, and cruelty will prevail.

Elites will be exempt from the worst effect of this new social norm but even they will live in their own version of purgatory.

Richard.
