As 2022 comes to an end. I am reflecting back on the past three years and the dominance of the government over the individual via legal/illegal mandates. Ahead... I see a mix of hard times [war in Ukraine and elsewhere], economic depression, social discord/disruption, and general disharmony within the environs around me. In a sense it seems that I might will be caught up in a vortex of slow/fast moving events that constantly buffer me [see photo].
I will be tumble dried by inflation/deflation/war/corruption and therefore my main task will be to stay focussed on what I need. Also I must find the discipline I will need to reduce the noise generated by other people, as I continue practice those habits that serve my basic needs, and as I continue to believe in a future that is jam packed with opportunities.
Inside the 2023 vortex it will become an advantage to have few wants. An advantage to have no frivolous habits. And an advantage to maintain a strong belief in one's self.
Bring on the New Year and all its challenges....
