The magic of being "you"...

Newminimalists bring the magic to their word.

You bring the magic to your world.

Remember it is you who brings the magic to your world [see photo].

The year 2020 has become a challenging time for all of us. Of course each one of us faces a different set of issues as we cling desperately to our sense of normality in an abnormal world.

However. A critical issue for you is the loss of your magic. As a five year old you owned 100% of "the magic of you". But each year since a person, institution, circumstance, addiction, etc has progressively stolen a portion of your stock of magic.

There has never before been a time in your life when you need to the curate and grow "the magic of you". If you doubt that is true [and I understand that most of you will do that] here is a simple test. For the next month make notes about having a good, fun, time with a group or and individual. After you have compiled that dossier flip through it [quickly] looking for the context, setting, and people or person who made that such a great time. It is likely you will discover that the same person, or people, brought the magic into your life. These folks helped you to restore your own stock of magic.

Another test is even more simple. Whenever you go to the supermarket smile at those people who allow, or even encourage, eye contact. Later some of those individuals will circle back around you. One or two may even brush by you. They will be drawn to you like a bee is to honey. And the more you do this the more the impact of such events will show-up in your life. Soon some of that lost "magic of you" will return to make your life more expansive inside a world that is shrinking before your eyes, ears, and dreams.
