We live inside blobs which are stable because they are formed by patterns that are familiar. And it is this familiarity that ferments contempt. However today our blob has become a discombobulation of patterns because those who hold it in contempt are being allowed to attack its pillars. These disrupters are relentless with their attacks on the family unit, religions, males, private enterprise, law and order, etc. Remember that these actors are full of contempt for the blob that has worked for the past one hundred years. These disrupters are often tagged as anarchistic actors of change but they are not. They are radical conservatives. They seek to conserve the patterns of the established blobs while they simply swap-out families for government, males for non-gender specifics, religion for ideology, private equity for government-backed corporates, laws for tribal rituals, and so on.
Beyond the blob is the swirl [see photo]. The swirl is an ever expanding universe that has patterns which are short-lived or constantly being recast. For all practical purposes the swirl can best be held to be a figment of human imagination. Why? Because it offers us a state in which there are continuous opportunities for growth and transformation. And so the swirl is inhabited by those individuals who possess the intellectual discipline to focus in on his or her needs rather than being drawn away into the blob where the collective wants of others set the structures and strictures of life.
I use my unique version of minimal-you to enable me to survive and to thrive in a space that lies just beyond the blob. Yeah... that space is what I have come to know as the swirl.
