Successful people see the "big picture"

All the successful people YOU will ever meet see the "big picture" [refer to photo]. They are humble. They are inquisitive. They are much more interested in you than in telling you about themselves. They listen carefully. They respond with questions not diatribes. They can be demanding. They can be ruthless. They can be less than friendly. And. They can tend to speak a different language, live in a different era, and care much more about different things to you and me. Why? Successful people who achieve a lot in life possess a strategic mind set. Strategic thinking is in their DNA. They focus on the context of the issue and thus they are rarely befuddled by the details. They know the "devil is in the details" but they seek to discover precisely which "devil" is lurking there and why he or she is opaque to most folks. Most folks are tactical thinkers [they "go along to get along", they back incremental change, their focus is on fads, mantras, Cliques, group think, etc] Check through your network of contacts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Are there any strategic thinkers? Go to minimal-you.com and sign up for the Tardis version 2.0 of "needs-based thinking" - it will expand your mind. Richard
