As we head towards more and more challenging events there is one thing each of us must do if we are preserve our sanity. We must stop lying to ourselves and others.
The big lie circulating within western society today is that the war in Ukraine is the result of an unprovoked push by Putin. That is a lie. It is a substantive lie because all the evidence is that since the election of Zelensky [in March/April 2019] pressure from NATO, EU, America, Germany, and the UK forced Putin to act the way he has done. Today the west is fighting a proxy war against Putin in Ukraine because they want regime change in Russia. The west uses economic sanctions against the Kremlin and its allies along with cash/military aid to support the Zelensky regime in an all out bid to cause regime change within Russia. This has generated a swirl of lies/propaganda which has engulfed us all [see photo].
However if we stop lying to ourselves and others then we will strike a blow against the propagandists who present their narratives as if it is "the truth". No one knows what is the absolute truth and yet those who peddle lies do so with immunity. They peddle lies under the cover of a shared ideology. They spread lies because they seek desperately to "go along to get along". They retail lies because they profit in some form or other from them. They parrot lies because they are incompetent. They are fully invested in the lies of the moment because.......
I can not tell you what to think and that is surely not my aim here. In fact I do not care what you think. I care about the fact that most of you lie to yourselves [and others] as a matter of course. I urge you to stop that habit even if you have gained wealth, power, or status from it.
