Social interfaces define your world.....

Time and space is defined by digital interfaces

Time and space are not independent entities they are defined by your digital interfaces with the world [see photo of Fractal Digital Mandala]. In a post-20202 world you will become a person who is defined by your digital interfaces in addition to your DNA. Your DNA has prepared you to this point for a world that is limited to the bounded constraints of time and space that produce recurring patterns of life [see photo which is part of The Mandelbrot Set which can be explained by the equation zn+1 = zn2 + c. In that equation, c and z are complex numbers and n is zero or a positive integer (natural number)]. Beyond the assumed constraints of time and space there is an expanding universe of possibilities that are not evident to us unless, or until, we learn to use our social interfaces to find a porthole out of our current perceptions of reality.

Over the past 5 years while writing my book "the sixth dimension" [still being edited to produce a solid first draft] I became fascinated by the prospects of social evolution for humans that outpaces our physical evolution. The reason we might need to speed up our social evolution more than our physical evolution is the approaching competition that we will soon meet from Super AI entities. I began to ponder if the limits to Super AI evolution might be that the bots can not be programmed to learn about, or intuitively form, social entities.

Humans are social beings who have a "deep need" to belong to a tribe, group, or culture. If this natural human need can be represented, replicated, and reproduced as a data structure then Super AI can become a social entity. If a Super AI entity can become a relationship-based entity then it is the speed of its social evolution that will determine the future for life on Earth and beyond. If Super AI entities can outstretch human abilities to progress social evolution then they will become, in a sense, more human than the organic representation of that state of being. Of course if humans outpace Super AI in the pursuit of social evolution then each form of intelligence will redefine what is it to "BE".

In a post-2020 world the "user interface" will be different for each tribe on the planet. We are seeing that happen today as we observe that those with different cultures based on ideology, theology, and one-think are experiencing a contrasting or contested sense of reality. Today reality is accessed through the porthole of culture not time and space. Time and space is either absent or being redefined by digital data structures that are based on algorithms not social ties that are reinforced by the language of your tribe or culture. For example, if you strap on a head-set that places you inside a virtual world where space and time is not related to what is deemed to be real if and when you leave the game to take a toilet break. Your perception of the "real world" is apparently still the same and so you can still find the toilet but when you re-enter the virtual world it has changed or moved on.

At the moment, more than ever before in my life, the user interface to reality is culture. By culture I mean how you must perceive reality to remain a member of your tribe. If you change the way you need to live [as you will when you find your minimal-you] then you will experience classic symptoms of cognitive dissonance and this will occur because you have discovered a new data structure to explain the world around you. And more importantly when you find your minimal-you and then use your new data construct to define your reality you might find that your accepted patterns of time and space [your unique version of The Mandelbrot Set] becomes fuzzy. In some instances time will slow and space will expand. For example, shopping trips will speed-up because your needs dictate the time you spend in the store rather than the wants of others [those who shape your cultural interface]. The space in the store will expand too because most of it consists of shelves stacked with products that you no longer need [given your newly formed cultural interface]. In that simple example you have redefined the user interfaces that define your world.

Richard.

Creativity is built-out inside minimal-you. You can discover your unique version of minimal-you in just ten days if you do three things. First, eliminate collective wants. Second, automate individual habits. Third, recreate personal beliefs. You can do it, but, you will need to be dedicated and disciplined to make it happen. Hi There ..... In the post-2020 world a data/information storm is about to hit our lives. Dealing with this new data structure will be so much more feasible if and when you discover your unique version of minimal-you. The key here is to focus on individual needs not collective wants in this new data structure. The floating variable however is the culture of the tribe, Clique, or social network that informs your perceptions of reality. Reality as perceived by minimal-you will be fit for future success for both you and you cohorts. Cheers, Richard.
