Rules...

Know the rules but challenge them.

The rules are clear today - diversity-equity-inclusion. You must know what these mean for you and then you must challenge them if they do not match your needs [see photo]. These rules govern your thinking, actions, and beliefs such that you become a fully-vested member of a tribe. If you stray beyond the limits of those rules you become a clear-and-present danger to the collective, group, class, or race that you are meant to serve.

It is imperative that you know the rules which govern your environs BUT it is even more important that you challenge all of them. You must challenge them if you are ever to meet your individual needs. And in the process you must take care of your individual needs if you are to survive and thrive in a post Covid-19 world.

Remember the collective imposes rules upon you and me because it seeks to control our thoughts, behaviours, and belief sets. These are not rules that promote exceptionalism indeed they are designed, defined, and implemented to have the opposite effect upon me, you, and our cohorts. These rules are shaped and enforced by people who seek to serve "the greater good". Collectives are usually formed to serve "the greater good" in terms of wants and aspirations. Within such entities there are many rules which you must challenge if you are not to become a programable zombie.

Ten years ago... I decided to form "a culture of one". I envisioned that culture as one shaped by thoughts, actions, and beliefs as expressed by the concept of minimal-you. I tend to think of myself as a minimalist and as such I challenge almost all the rules promulgated via the collective wants within society today. I challenge all of them to ascertain if there is any use-value in them for me. Those which have no obvious or inherent use-value for me I lay aside.

The mind of a minimalist is developed on a unique sense of you which, in turn, is based on individual needs not collective wants. For instruction on how to establish your sense of you: go to minimal-you.com and hit the "become a minimalist" button in the banner heading. This will take you to a payment scheme for a 10 day programme that will teach you how to design, enforce, and live with mind filters: these help you to be the best person you can be.
