Today the road out of Death Valley is clear and beautiful [see photo]. If we choose to take the Gen 3 & 4 Nuclear Power road out of Death Valley we can halt our obsession with Climate Change.
It is time to promote nuclear power as the solution to the base-load issues that plague intermittent energy sources such as wind, hydro, and solar. In addition, nuclear energy cradles no battery storage issues. Simply put a 'next gen' Nuclear Power grid is our best clean energy source for the foreseeable future.
Today we have nuclear subs - tomorrow we may have nuclear space vehicles. Today nuclear power is a major domestic source for consumers in France, Sweden, Czech Republic, etc and tomorrow it may be the case for most of China, Africa, and South America. By 2050 we may also have nuclear-powered habitats on Mars.
The fear of man-made Climate Change has proved a great 'wake-up call' for all who live on Earth today. But. Clearly it is time to move-on past it. It is time to begin working hard on the Nuclear Power solutions to the core issues that this 50 year old 'fear campaign' raised for us all.
Humans love 'fear campaigns'. Indeed a well-meaning 'fear campaign' can often serve us well.
