On the edge of oblivion...

We can see the end of what we have but nothing else.

We are all standing on the edge of oblivion [see photo].

We know what we had in past centuries; however, we know little about what will replace it. Current acts of destruction do not reveal the seeds for our regeneration. Are we headed for oblivion? Perhaps... However who is pushing the changes that will obliterate so many of us.

The course towards oblivion is clear. But... What will be left after all this devastation?

Gone are national boundaries. Gone are familial [sentience] boundaries. Gone are the drivers of economic growth [fossil fuels]. Gone are the remnants of responsible government. Gone are monetary and fiscal policy levers. Gone are the rights of individuals. Gone are the public education institutions. Gone are those with divergent thoughts, habits, and beliefs.

Oblivion is inevitable unless, or until, you and I work to remove the incompetent, ideological, and evil actors from governments, businesses, banks, etc.

Richard.
