Minimalism is a calling, mission, or purpose [see photo]. Adopting minimalism as a strategy is common in nature where procreation is the end goal of a plant or an animal species. When complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity prevail around a plant or an animal the fail safe strategy is minimalism.
Minimalism demands that we remove clutter, noise, distractions, and excesses from the core of an entity. For a human that is difficult while living through the Covid-19 pandemic because so much of what an individual needs is wrapped-up in the clutter and noise created by others. Nonetheless the most fundamental human needs are food, shelter, healthcare, social cohesion, and the security gained from a sense of belonging. Those basic needs translate into human actions through habits. In turn, those habits are grounded in a viable belief set. And those belief sets are the wholesome outcomes of rational thought and contemplation.
