We live in such a sick world at present because SAFETY is being mandated [see photo]. Not my safety but yours. And the mandate is applied to what I think, do, and believe in so that you can remain SAFE. However the truly weird thing about all this compulsion is that there is no guarantee that even if I fully comply with all the mandates applied to me that you will be SAFE.
Can I make you SAFE from your morbid fear of Climate Change if I buy an electric car, use only solar energy, invest in only green companies, etc? The inane idea that my thoughts, actions, and beliefs must be controlled by mandates to ensure your SAFETY is a simply a bizarre application of the mantra that governments exist for "the greater good" of all citizens.
The individual is being mandated out of existence. Why? The individual can not be trusted to think, act, and believe what the collective, clique, fascist regime, etc has determined to be fair and equitable through their processes of group think and mob rule. The individual is held to be a deviant, rogue, misfit, etc in a grand schema that will deliver a utopian world through government decrees and mandates. Perhaps this is the correct way to shape the future of 7 billion people. But, I doubt that such mandates will lead us to a desirable, feasible, or viable set of policy settings to combat Climate Change, inequity, gender discombobulation, ageing population issues, doing more with less, etc. However a mandated future is on the way and each individual will have to establish his or her best coping mechanisms to survive and thrive within it.
I have only one prediction about the mandated future. Those who will do best in this new mandated world will be minimalists.
