Today there is greater confusion - about many things - than at any other time in my life. Perhaps I am too easily befuddled by the social trend that sees the designate "loser" rot in hell while the "virtuous winner" is rewarded with a risk-free life [see photo].
We live under the thumb of fascism - in various guises - wherein a "loser" is anyone who stands out in a crowd of vaccinated zombies who still wear a mask and avoid those who are not like them. I note that these vaccinated zombies are being led by their collectivist heroes who claim they will lead us all to the promised land. A land full of diversity-equity-inclusion and green-tech assisted living for all. A land where social justice is policed by local snitches not by well trained men and women. A land where your political stripes define your status as one of the chosen few in corporate, media, public service, etc. A land where the colour yellow is banned because it promotes spontaneity, joy, laughter, and individuality. A land where public squalor - homelessness, rusted-out public transport, no-go zones of mayhem, etc - is the norm and private decadence remains the preserve of a virtuous Clique. A land of engineered social stagnation with pools of unrequited poverty and misery on a scale that has never been seen before.
I do not accept a world where incompetents are feted in the style that was previously reserved for those who proved to be exceptional, competent, brave, persistent, purposeful, and honest. I do not accept a world where a virtuous Clique can set the rules to suit their lack of talent, integrity, imagination, creativity, compassion, and decency. I do not accept a world where individualism is banned yet collectivism is lauded. I do not accept a world where deviants, rogues, misfits, and intellectuals are sent to prison for crimes against conformity, obedience, tyranny, serfdom, and one think.
Richard.
My mind as a minimalist is developed on a unique sense of what I call minimal-you which, in turn, is based on individual needs not collective wants. For instruction on how to establish your sense of you: go to minimal-you.com and hit the "become a minimalist" button in the banner heading. This will take you to a payment scheme for a 10 day programme that will teach you how to design, enforce, and live with mind filters: these help you to be the best person you can be.
