Life is full of moments that give it meaning. One for me was when I left my nation of birth to come to live in Prague. This moment was primed when I sold or "gave away" all my material possessions. However the moment I went full minimalist was when I walked down the tunnel to enter my flight. In that moment I shed my attachment to stuff. Sure. I do miss some of my books and some little things I once took for granted...... but not so much.
I remember buying one of those books as I boarded a flight from New York to LA [many years ago] it had a compelling title "Don't sweat the small stuff". I read it on the plane and I became a convert to its wisdom. The simplicity of the message was intoxicating for me. However. Today I have another simple message that I hope you might see wisdom in too. "Celebrate small moments" [see photo].
So....
"Don't sweat the small stuff". "Do celebrate small moments".
Minimalists embrace both messages because they focus on needs not wants.
