I laugh more and more each day because life in 2021 is a parody [see photo].
There are so many things that I formerly found worrying, frightening, disturbing, etc. that I now tend to laugh about. Why? Because life is a parody. Simply put there are many things happening today that are down right funny. These happenings are funny because they are part of the "noise" that surrounds my life. The truth is few of the over-hyped happenings actually impact my life [well not yet... ha, ha, ha].
I relate what is happening today to a special experience I had the day I was lying in bed at home in Canberra, Australia, coping with the effects of a flu. I got phone call. It was an invitation to comment on a survey about policing, crime, neighbour watch, etc. I do not usually respond to any kind of survey; however, I had the time and the inclination to respond to this one. I was concerned about safety in my community and I thought I had a lot of complaints to air about the police and the authorities who controlled our streets. After about ninety minutes of intensive questioning [by an experienced interviewer] I got off the phone with a new mindset about my life. I realised that almost all of the fears I held about my safety on the streets in my neighbourhood were illusions or delusions. Sure there might be other suburbs where some people face real threats and dangers to their life: but not me.
Today... I do not fear the end of the world due to Climate Change.... ha, ha, ha... I do not fear the elites in Davos who invented the "build back better" movement which is accumulating more and more wealth, power, and status for them in 2021. I do not fear that individuals can ultimately be replaced by a collective [as per described in Brave New World or 1984]. Sure an individual can be cancelled, fired, or jailed because he or she refuses to comply with face mask and vaccination mandates, etc; however, "group think" will never completely overlay one's unique thoughts, habits and beliefs [for more on the irrepressible character traits of individualism go to minimal-you.com ].
