Newminimalism promotes *originality *discipline *creativity *loyalty *less fluff
The last decade in the global workplace has featured "sameness" and "one-think". In 2020 we all need a lead from those "transcendental dreamers" who can help us climb a stairway out of this "one-think" malaise [see photo].
Examples of past "transcendental dreamers" include: John Lennon [Imagine], Joan Miro [The Harlequin's Carnival], Seth Godin [Purple Cow], Steve Jobs [Think Different], Jean-Marie Dru [Disruption], et al. These dreamers changed the world with ideas, images, propositions, sounds, etc.
Modern workers can now climb out a global workplace that is dominated by the "woke" mob who seek to control speech, thought, behaviour, and decision-making of individuals and teams. After a decade of "sameness" in global workplaces most employees are bored. Because they are bored they are being treated like children by HR units. Over the years, HR units have turned the global workplace into a "sheltered workshop" where the main activity is entertainment of adults who are obviously not fully engaged by their jobs. As we know many modern workplaces feed employees, provide recreational activities onsite, impose a "safe zone" by policing speech etc, and encourage "ideological one-think".
But.... Where is this spiral stairway [see photo] leading us? No one is sure what exactly our destination is and that is the real reason we need "transcendental dreamers" to suggest what is possible if we can escape the clasp of the "one-think" mob. One alternative is the "gig-based" global workplace which relies upon a new form of "distributed networks" to deliver individuals the type of work that can be completed alone or with the cooperation of others. Each gig-based contract offers a worker a new context for engagement, purpose, and achievement.
