The outside lane is where speed thrives. If you live your life "out there" you develop skills that those in the slow lanes do not [see photo]. For example you always have less time to react to something ahead of you in the fast lane than those who travel with the rest of the mob. This fact forces you to live your life with a view to the future that is different to most other people. Life in the fast lane is an individual act. Thus, collaboration is a huge hand-brake on being fast in your lane. Meanwhile, cooperation is a fuel pellet for those in the fast lane. So if your vocabulary includes the word "collaboration" you must replace it with the word "cooperation".
Minimalist live in the fast lane because they eliminate "collective wants", automate "individual habits", and "recreate beliefs".
