The poor around the world live in a state of wonderment that is hard to match when you have an abundance of everything [see photo]. The poor overcome, discard, or do not even notice adversity that could cripple a person of means. The poor are often generous to a fault while those with means are often selfish to the core.
You must learn to be poor because WWIII will make you so. In times of war it is the meek who prove the strongest, most resilient, and best examples of humanity. Those who can not cope with depredation, loss, and discombobulation are quickly cast aside.
Because there are no army tanks rolling down the streets of your town, city, or principality do not delude yourself that you are not part of WWII. There is no place on Earth to hide from the consequences of this war which began with the army tanks on the plains of Ukraine. This particular war swiftly spread from Ukraine to your local bank, food store, gas station, and service provider. You are now a frontline soldier in a war that is being waged by the power elites in the EU, Washington, London, Paris, Prague, Canberra, etc. These people are crazy. These people do not care about you. These people care only about themselves and their grip on power. These people are spending your money to pursue their ideological dreams.
Learning to be poor starts with your state of mind... If you can detach yourself from your possessions you can learn to be poor. If you can use your mind to imagine a good life while being deprived of shelter, food, healthcare, etc you can learn to be poor. If you can take supreme pleasure in those moments when you do have adequate shelter, food, healthcare, etc you have learnt to be poor.
Richard.
