What constitutes a mind? Of course this is still an open question. In many respects it remains a mystery. But who owns a human mind is no longer a mystery - see the photo above.
You dream of change yet your mind is full of the familiar not the new. Did you dream up the ideas, mantras, ideologies, and theologies that inform your contemporary view of the world?
Think about that question a little and you may find you are as concerned as I am about the impact of sameness on humans. Perhaps this urge to be the same, or to have the outcomes in our lives be the same as those of others, is where the familiar and the new coexist today.
The narrative that runs on a 24/7 loop inside your mind is not yours. Who writes your mind-narrative? Perhaps it is a stand alone script that you created and curated. If that is so then you likely have few friends, colleagues, and social relationships. The reason is that "every time you speak your mind" you are introducing views that are new not familiar. The shock of the new will hit hard at those who were, or could be, your friend. So who owns your mind once you become a well-adjusted, sociable, and likeable person?
Google engineers have a plan to implant a bot inside your brain [not your mind] and link it to the Internet. They claim this technology will increase your IQ [perhaps your EQ] as well as your sociability. However. If they are successful "does Google own your brain?" Perhaps they do own your brain with this new technology but they still do not own your mind.
Your mind is already owned by those who form the Clique that you have decided to "go along with to get along". Your mind has become an extension of the group think or one-think that permeates the people you choose to "hang with".
