Individual change is so misunderstood...

Individual change needs support from at least one other.

Individual change is a woefully misunderstood because there is always a gap between where you live and where you need to live.

The core reason most people fail to achieve individual change is that it can not be attained through a process.

We live within a structure which determines who we are and who will can be. If we do not change the component elements of our structure then we will always be as we are today. Most processes used by individuals to inculcate individual changes are not able to shift a person from one structural form to a new one [see photo].

In the most simple form I know to express it I can tell you that you are the product of a simple structure: thoughts, habits, and beliefs.

How does one change that simple structure without demolishing it? You move the focus of your life from "wants" to "needs". In essence you move the focus of your life from the control of others. Initially your new life structure will prove extremely difficult to handle because it is now owned and controlled by you.

To live with, or within, this new structure is not easy and it will take you some time to adjust your life to your new requirements. Almost instantly, you will face some personal challenges because many of your familial, colleagues, and friends still live in the old structure that you are moving on from. Thus you might well expect that you will encounter some rather heated arguments between you and your former support group. However, the good news is that there is always someone who is there to help you find what it is that you actually need to live a purpose-driven life.
