In the BBC series Dr Who [about the adventures and misadventures of a timelord] the script writers have created a metaphor for your "lucky" mind. This "lucky" mind of yours is plain vanilla on the outside with all the flavours known to the Universe on the inside [see photo].
Imagine, for a moment, that I just gave you FIVE good "luck" tokens which you can spend when, where, and how you wish over the next twelve months.
Where will you spend each token?
When will you spend each token?
How will you decide when and where to spend your tokens?
Here is the rub... Your mind has an unlimited number of "lucky" tokens that it is constantly offering up to you... And all these tokens are perfectly aligned with your needs... Indeed whenever you need to become "lucky" your mind has a multitude of ways you can make that happen. Your "lucky" mind is a Tardis which can be preset to take you wherever you need to be. Sometimes it will land you in situations where you will need lots of good "luck" simply to survive; however, sometimes it lands in a time and space where you are well placed to cope with whatever challenges head your way over the next six months, year, decade, etc.
For example you might need some good "luck" to weave a viable pathway through the coming threats posed by inflation. To get on a viable pathway you might need to tap into your "lucky" mind reserves. Here is a practical tip for you. Your "lucky" mind will help you if, and only if, you have a genuine need.
Let me show you what I mean. Perhaps you have a genuine need to improve your health. You might have a lifelong need to do a good job while everyone else is aggressively cutting corners. You might have a genuine need to help others who are not coping well with the new pressures that inflation brings. And so on...
Each situation exposes an individual need that you might spend one of your five "lucky" tokens on over the next twelve months. However be warned. Spending a token on an individual need comes with no guarantee that you will succeed; but, it will ensure that your "lucky" mind is engaged at times when others are panicked, distraught, or frozen with fear.
