Guilt is complex mixture of unresolved feelings [see photo]. In men it is dangerous because it causes isolation, self harm, anti-social behaviours, and drug dependence. Anger builds and builds inside men and this leads to outbursts that seems incongruous because it comes to from an accumulation of events not due to the event in which it shows up.
Guilt is a curse for individuals because it is accumulative and often builds to a stage where it is beyond the control of its owner. Again this is especially true for young men. And in today's climate of cancel culture and ideological group think it is young males who are angry. This angry individuals will cause more self-harm than anything else but there will be collateral damage to their familial, community, or nation.
Guilt at the level of family, community, nation, and global leadership is ever present in 2021 and it has become a unifying element for those who are determined to lash out at everything that has previously been good about the world. The mob are traumatised by their anger and reacting to it as a three year might as they throw tantrums over the least important things. We can only hope that this is a phrase in world history that will soon pass but how long much longer must we endure it?
