Great reset - dispatch #3

The world loves minimalists as much as it does this woodpecker.

Woodpeckers are tapping out the great reset message.

The great reset is merely a message at present; but, it is one that is being repeated and replicated by people and woodpeckers alike [see photo].

The woodpecker's message is that collective rights have subsumed all individual rights.

What individuals must prepare for is the loss of property rights. The loss of copy rights. The loss of patent rights. The loss of a human rights. The loss of free speech rights. The loss of independent thinking rights. The loss of individual rights in politics, courts, and workplaces.

Legislation will soon be crafted that is loose and even ambiguous in terms of the laws that it proposes. This will be done deliberately by the drafters because it allows interpretation of these loosely legislated laws to become political acts rather than those of strict application of legal tenets. The great reset will therefore bias this process towards an interpretation of entitlements and rights that favours a group, a collective, a tribe, or a community over those of you and me as a citizen or an individual.

You might seek to join a cult, tribe, group, or community in order to better protect your rights. However this strategy is not assured of success. In practice there will be many competing claims by different types of collectives and the decision to award one a benefit over all others will become a random event. This process will be randomise due to the shifting tides of public opinion and political dominance.

The message of the great reset begins as an ideal but the process of repetition, replication, and mutation of this meme must inevitably lead to mediocrity. It will be the common denominator that holds the collective together if it is to prevail and thus the messages of idealists will be forsaken. Naturally the worst outcomes of the great reset will be visited upon those who are not prepared for the destruction, displacement, anger, and hate that it can and most likely will generate.

Richard.
