Goldilocks or Alice?

Goldilocks or Alice?

Goldilocks is a story of a little girl who finds herself inside the house of three bears. She finds three bowls of porridge the first is too hot, the second is too cold, but the third is "just right". The same is the case with the chairs she sits on. Finally the same is true of the beds she relies on to find some sleep. The "just right" bed is where she goes to sleep until awakened by the family of bears. She runs away and never goes back to that place.

Alice enters Wonderland while chasing a White Rabbit and his pocket watch. What she finds is a mixture of ambiguity, uncertainty, chaos, and absurdity. The Cheshire Cat is there and then he is not but at no time does he really add value to her experience. The Mad Hatter is found continuously drinking his first cup of tea. Alice is larger than life and after she pops a pill she is as tiny as a house mouse. The Red Queen is an authoritarian character whose power is fading because whenever she shouts "off with his head" the King annuls her command.

We all know he, she, they/them who live "a just right" life as per Ģoldilocks. We all know he, she, they/them who live as Alice does as she challenges the absurdity of Wonderland. It is a choice for each person to take and to make work.

I know, I know.... You are wondering... which approach towards life best fits a minimalist as he, she, they/them strive to establish a unique version of minimal-you? Of course it is Alice because individual needs are ever changing and yet always remain the same [see photo].
