Get the colleagues you need....

People who find success have the right talent around them [see photo] to get the job done.

Sometimes you need muscle to do the heavy lifting. Sometimes you need brains to do the heavy lifting. Sometimes you need imaginative minds to do the heavy lifting. Sometimes....

As we move from an analogue [people-based processes] to a digital [algorithms] world of work so the definition of talent will alter. People can survive and thrive in both an analogue and digital world however they will do this in very different ways.

Those kids who are preparing to survive in a digital world are likely to spend more time playing video games rather than swotting for school tests. Those who swot for tests are preparing for the continuation of the analogue world. And this approach offers a solid future for next 30 years Those kids who play video games are preparing to handle the disruption that is coming with the use of AI in all aspects of mundane life.

The minds of workers in an AI dominated world of work will be different to those of their antecedents. The talent in the old workplace are those who tested well at school because they were groomed for an analogue system. And these kids form a tribe that is a still formidable workforce. Will these kids be sent off to play video games in their parent's basements. Eventually there will be education/training centres [incubators] that teach digital imagination to analogue trained kids.

Meanwhile the kids who play games and ignore analogue-based schools will thrive as they create their own businesses or have future employers falling over each other to hire them.

I have set-up a free access incubator for you and your friends where you can play with your most diverse, demanding, and sticky ideas. While inside this incubator with a select few friends [I recommend no more than eight] you can create an ideology, confirmation bias, and 'group think' free space. As I say this facility is free for you and your friends. Use it as a start-up space before you go onto create your own physical or online venue. To access this space go to minimal-you.com and click on the button below the heading "the hangout" and then you can get to work curating ideas in ways that make them a social or commercial reality. And. If you have any questions about setting-up your De Bono type incubator feel free to contact me via email or direct messaging [see "ask Richard"].
