From pandemic to endemic...

The covid pandemic being eclipsed by omicron endemic

Good news. The covid pandemic is being replaced by an omicron endemic [see photo].

Further good news. We might, just might, be about to see the pandemic of collective-based public policy replaced by something new. This pandemic began around 60 years ago and reached its peak in 2021 with health mandates and authoritarian rule that guides public policy decision making to become delusional in the service of "the greater good".

Signs that rational public policy making is about to return are seen in Great Britain [and elsewhere] as the Central Bank moves to raise interest rates. This is a positive sign but it must be reinforced by policy settings which favour contraction of government reach, control, and services through a return to the sanity of balanced budgets. This can happen if, and perhaps only if, the current centralisation of power is undermined by new moves to devolve authority back to local communities. One development that is positive here is the rollout of 5G communication systems. This 5G communications rollout may prove to be the endemic of community-based decisions that defuses the concentration of power at the centre [in Central Banks, Federal Governments, United Nations, Davos, etc] of a global system that is controlled by an Elite not by the common man or woman.

You can help progress the endemic of individual and local decision-making if you reject the dictates of the collective Elite who control the pandemic of centralised decision-making that tend to favour themselves and their cohorts.
