The cult of Sun worship was popular in Babylon - the cult of Earth worship is ubiquitous.
Sun worship made sense because this God was essential for the continuity of human life. Earth worship makes no sense because this Goddess is not essential for the continuity of human life.
It makes much more sense to me to become a rusted-on member of the Mars worship cult. By the end of C21st there will be a human colony on Mars and once that base camp is established the whole premise of Earth worship will become null and void.
Earth worship has us focus on Climate Change because it is deemed to be such a massive threat to our Goddess. Mars worship would change all that because we would set our sights on open space and the expansion of human life in all its glory.
Mars worship is my cult....
