We are being asked to choose sides in the raging conflict between ideologies [see photo].
Inside our communities there are conflicts between those who choose to "go along to get along" and those who seek to be left alone to think for themselves. The Covid-19 virus has brought many issues, which had been bubbling along just below the surface, into full view. These new conflicts require us to be cognisant about the consequences [both intended and unintended] of our choices when we vote, purchase goods and services, accept or refuse to be vaccinated, applaud or shun regime change, and so on and so on.
Outside our communities there are ongoing conflicts that we must also be cognisant about if we are to prepare for the discombobulation which now seems inevitable. What is going on in America is a cultural revolution driven by governments, media, educators, celebrities, corporate boards, influential Elites. etc. This cultural revolution is spreading out to impact most of folks living in what we loosely call the Western World and this phenomenon is viewed as normal. However this bout of social change is also impacting China and over the past two years it has sparked a Mao styled Cultural Revolution led by the CCP. The difference between that Mao led Cultural Revolution [version 1.0] and this the new CCP led Cultural Revolution [version 2.0] is that the former was an inward facing conflict while the latter is an outward facing conflict.
