To me it is a shocking that life today is being reshaped, redefined, and limited by "concepts" that are fanciful. They are fanciful because they project onto us the collective wants of the mob at the expense of the individual needs of you and me.
For example:
Working from home is a concept not a viable element within a shifting set of business needs. If you are seduced by the concept of working at home then please make sure that your new workplace is a viable profit centre or business unit.
Climate change is the fashionable precept for a new tax regime. The green new deal is a concept not a viable plan for action. This concept will produce a raft of new taxes that are levied on activities that serve individual needs because they support the wants of tribal religions. Those who welcome these new taxes have embraced a religious mantra [being woke] that partitions their minds and therefore separates them into tribes of us and them.
Diversity-equity-inclusion is a jumble of words that at face value are utter and complete nonsense; and yet, it is this new "concept" that is changing life in the Western World today. Where does the old concept of the individual find succour inside this new concept of equal outcomes based on critical race theory and the suspension of the rules of human difference.
And so on and so on.....
I imagine our world in the post-covid era will become a greater challenge for those who seek to belong to the mob than it is for those who are grounded in the concept of self and live according to their fundament needs not the wants of others.
Richard.
Minimal-you.com is the place to go if you seek to protect yourself, as best you can, from the ravages of a life as constructed by those who promote diversity-equity-inclusion. Equity [equality of outcomes] can only be achieved for those who are not minimalists. Diversity based on skin tone, together with the vague ideological inclusion, can only be achieved for those who are not minimalists. The minimalist will remain "a culture of one" in a world where tribal rituals multiply and ultimately lead people to embrace local, regional, and global warfare.
