Minimal-you is rusted onto the habits you cherish.
This year is bound to be marked with uncertainty, ambiguity, confusion, and latent risks.
In the face of an uncertain world please remember that your anchor is your version of minimal-you [see photo].
Your version of minimal-you is revealed by your practiced habits. You choose to smoke. You chose to enjoy sex with many different partners. You choose to eat greens but not red meat. You chose to be an agreeable person when faced with conflict.
There are many variants of minimal-you; indeed, that is what makes the concept so pliable.
Your priority is to chose habits that offer a rewards to latent risks ratio which will shape who you are and who you can become.
The point of difference between you and those around you at work, at home, or within your social networks is your consistent set of habits. You might smoke a lot. You may indulge in many sexual adventures. You may work 24/7. You may lull about with only spasmodic burst of productivity. You may write a page a day for no particular reason. You may never write for pleasure ever again. And so on....
The habits you chose will define you.
Richard.
