Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles....

Why do we love bubbles so much.

Bubbles

By Shelley Bruce

Bubbles, bubbles in the air

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere

They coalesce, then, they grow

Floating on the wind; there they go

Bubbles, bubbles in the air

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere

Social bubbles are our nest

Small bubbles are our best

These inflate, stretch, and float

Before they burst they showboat

Bubbles, bubbles in the air

Bubble, bubbles everywhere

Social bubbles are flimsy inside and out

They contort, distort, and gain support

Minds do opt out but more opt in

They stretch a skin that is thin, thin, thin

Bubbles, bubbles in the air

Bubble, bubbles everywhere

Social bubbles are a trap

Minds inside take a nap

Many good minds are lost

Social entropy is the cost

Bubbles, bubbles in the air

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere
