Britain will crash out of the EU on 31st October or soon thereafter. It will happen because Brexit is a deal between the British Electorate and Parliament. And so if this Parliament can not negotiate a free trade treaty with the EU then a new set of MPs will be elected.
Over the next 10-20 years some big changes are possible:
- the financial sector in London will be permanently downsized
- high-value workers in large numbers will enter on temporary visas or as permanent citizens
- a massive redistribution of wealth from London to the midlands will raise wages
- Scotland and Northern Ireland will attempt to break away from England
- the National Health Scheme will be privatised and the cost savings will be massive
- England will build a large Navy
- private and public education throughout England will again be the envy of the world
- aged care will lead the world in best practice
- goods stamped "Made in England" will be sold all around the globe
- the House of Lords will be abolished.
