As a newborn baby each of us is clearly a unique individual [see photo]. But then we grow up and join clubs, gangs, and various collectives thus our uniqueness evaporates.
I regained my unique individual status by becoming a minimalist. My journey to that lifestyle took me over a decade; however, there were just three steps.
Step one. Think about my individual needs.
Step two. Form habits that protect my individual needs.
Step three. Create a strong belief in individualism.
The world is ruled by collective elites and they demand that we focus on group wants rather than on individual needs.
Richard.
