When I order a cup of coffee in Prague it usually comes with a glass of water [see photo].
When a minimalist indulges himself, or herself, with a collective want [a dehydrating cup of coffee] it is balanced by addressing an individual need [a hydrating glass of water]. Indeed the imbalance between wants and needs is the focal point for a minimalist's mind. Of course, today, we see more and more wants satiated [coffee addictions] and fewer and fewer needs [rehydration] being addressed.
