Where have all the strong men gone? I do not know but I miss them [see photo].
Contemporary life is characterised by a clear-and present absence of men. This is a twilight world of creatures that only ever existed in comic books in my youth. The male hero was a godsend to me growing up because the world was increasingly becoming dominated by goblins, myths, and falsehoods. I needed a strong male presence to set me straight and to show me that being male was a sacred blessing. Because I was male I inherited a mountain of responsibilities that would either break me or make me stronger.
As a young man I remember driving up the highway leading off the Sydney Harbour Bridge [Australia] and heading towards the northern suburbs. Up on the hill stood a church with a big sign that I shall never forget. It read "I asked God to help with carry my heavy load - he sent me broader shoulders". I realised then that men need broader shoulders to carry the extra load that being a male thrusts upon them.
Where are the broad shouldered men today? Have they all been broken by the loads they must carry? Will we ever see true men on this planet again? What will happen to our planet now that most of the broad-shouldered men have disappeared? When will humans ever learn to value, and to respect, what they have been given by past generations more than do the vagaries and mysteries that currently persist about utopian worlds? What will become of the few good men left on this planet?
Where have all the strong men gone? I do not know but I miss them [see photo].

My mind as a minimalist is developed on a unique sense of what I call minimal-you which, in turn, is based on individual needs not collective wants. For instruction on how to establish your sense of you: go to minimal-you.com and hit the "become a minimalist" button in the banner heading. This will take you to a payment scheme for a 10 day programme that will teach you how to design, enforce, and live with mind filters: these help you to be the best person you can be.
